Try this 10 fun indoor games to spice up your day.
Too much of a cool breeze? A few drops of rain? Have fun in the comfort of your home.
We all have those days when we just wait for time to run, giving up all the efforts to bring some colorful entertainment in your home, but we have thought of some suggestions that can allow you to turn off the couch-potato mode and let your soul explode in brightful ideas. All you need are just a few objects, your home and of course your friends and loved ones!
Firstly, you just have to distribute the five roles of the game by adjusting them proportionally; as an example, for 11 people you should have 1 policeman, 1 doctor, 2 killers, 1 moderator and 6 townspeople (but remember: the moderator only should be known; all the others must be kept secret!). The goal of the assassins is to kill all the participants – including the policeman and the doctor - while the townspeople have to vote out the murderers.
At each turn, it simply works like this: had everyone closed the eyes, the moderator asks the assassins to open their eyes and to choose two people to kill. Once they have silently agreed, the killers close their eyes. Then, it’s the turn of the doctor, who has to choose one person to save. Next the policeman: he has to point his finger towards the supposed assassin, and the moderator just has to agree or disagree in silence. Now, everyone else can open the eyes. Once the moderator heralds who’s been killed (or saved, if the doctor had previously chosen the right person), the townspeople have to cooperate to decide to vote who they guess is the killer. The voted person has to leave the game and keep silent, but no one can be sure that the accused player is in effect the assassin, the policeman, the doctor or any other villager!
The game is played in turns, at each turn you repeat the process and it’s up to the players to trust each other: who’s lying? Is the policeman what he claims to be? How can you be sure of the trustworthiness of the townsperson beside you?
Keep on playing, and figure it out!
1- Guessing a common trait between two people or objects: the ones who answer correctly pick one pawn and move down the trail
2- Doing the count: The player counts “one, two, three” and on four, all players put a number on their head. Players who have the same number as the player whose turn it is can grab a prize and move.
3- Completing a quote: The player begins a famous quote and all other players attempt to finish it. For instance, “The only thing we have to fear is…“ and “fear itself!”. Players who complete the quote correctly take the prize and move. Finally, after all Pawns have been removed, the King is vulnerable. The first player to land on one of the center spaces, take the last Soldier and finally the King, wins the game!
